"No Snow In December"

In December it is suppose to snow all month
Hot chocolate to drink and cookies to munch
But this year is different because of one reason
There is no snow to match the season

Without snow there is not much to do
I sat on my couch as if my butt had glue
Such a boring month it makes me sad
If it snowed right now that would not be so bad

Christmas passed by and it felt different this year
There were no bells or carols to hear
2013 is coming real soon
I make a wish for snow on a full moon

The next day the snow falls from the sky
I am so happy i just want to cry

No more boring nights doing nothing at all
Time to go outside and run until I fall!

"Snoopys House!"

There was a big assignment today in class
We are going to make houses, but not out of glass
They are going to be houses of gingerbread!!!
They have to be big so everyone gets fed

My group thinks of an idea to make ours the best
Angela says she knows whats better than the rest
She says we make Snoopy's house from Charlie Brown
Everyone's so excited and noone frowns

So we get to work as quick as we can
We make the gingerbread and put the frosting in a pan
We all work together really fast
Before we know it a full week has passed

Its time to put them on display and we hope everyone likes it
We see people wonder how Snoopy even fit
The next day we see who won
Of course ours did we didnt make it for fun

"The storm brews problems"

A storm is coming and everyone is on the run
Hurricane Sandy isn't funny no ones having fun
The winds are so strong they make the trees look so weak
When they fall to the ground you hear women shriek
The night night can not get any worse i think I'm going to die
Just then the power goes out and i want to start to cry
I have homework to do but my powers out
This homework has to get done without a doubt
I go through town and see the mess the storm made
No one went to work so no ones getting paid
Streets are closed because trees block the ways
Getting through town is like going through a maze
Back to business i need to find electricity
Then i realize that Ang will help me
I finished my homework it was very easy

"Getting to School"

School is starting soon and i am not prepared
I don't know my teachers which makes me very scared
I think I did the homework, but I'm not really sure
I say I'm sick, but my mom always has a cure
The day before school starts and it's going by fast
Fall is already here and summers in the past
I go to bed early, but i can't fall asleep until it's late
I'm thinking about classes trying to get my stuff straight
The next morning I wake up to a roar
My moms shouting that it's already 8:04
I jump out of bed and run to the shower
I get out quick because my moms shouting louder
I have to rush to school hopefully I'm not tardy
Pulling a "Back to the Future" I need a time machine from Marti
I get to school and to my suprise
We have senior homeroom and tears fall from my eyes
I don't end up being late, I'm as lucky as a four leaf clover
But i still walk into a room with everyone staring, my embarrassment isn't over.
